exams

was just clearing up my mail as usual, clearing the junk mail that clogs up the mail space. and then i saw: flexible degrees for busy adults.

is the paper qualification really that important? nowonder there are so many private universities being set up to accommodate to the less-gifted people, the normal people. without the paper work, it is almost impossible to get a simple desk job. putting the ordinary people aside, even graduates are fighting for jobs.

however, this is almost similar to inflation. with the increase in availability of getting a cert, it is almost pointless to be just a degree-holder. people are working up the ladder to getting MBAs, PhDs and what have u not. in time to come, these titles will be so easy to get that people will think of higher levels of education to make the more gifted even more gifted, and the less gifted even less gifted.

this brings me back to reality. am i really going to work hard to get all these titles? or am i going to stick by what God has for me? to me, these are just but titles, names. is the education going to do u gd or is it just a means of getting more money?

yes i'll work hard for my exams and As and get my degrees even though i really can't stand the thot of studying. it's not all about looking it as a chore to 'glorify God' but more of liking what i study.

yet, another lesson learnt.
