trust
through the eyes
i see the world
the many colours
red,blue or grey
light floods into
the windows of my body
filling every corner
until darkness arrives
gone was the light
that kept my heart alive
burning,choking
that's all i feel
until all i am now
is broken
every piece so sharp
cuts my fingers
till they bleed
trying to put the pieces back
only in vain
because the cracks still remain
i could hope
for the storm to end
till the clouds disappear
and the light comes back
always trusting
on the promise
of the rainbow
right after the flood
always trusting

it reminds us that we are and never will be perfect but we are to live the best we can each day.
