coffee bean.

this place holds special memories.

i miss the times i used to study at sing post coffee bean. it'd be freezing cold and and almost always quiet. then it'd rain at times and i would try not to get wet by walking under the mrt tracks. the windows get real frosty and it was hard to look at the fountains outside. then it would be very much colder on rainy days.

i'd always order a small cup of ice mocha without whipped cream with that piece of serviette wrapped around the plastic cup. then i would face my notes and start to sigh and grumble and look around. most of the time, i would be forced to sit at the corner where u were always sitting on the bench and i'd be facing the wall with all the coffee bean signs until one day i was so bored that i drew the coffee bean logo on my physics notes.

then we would study until dinner and go for prayer meeting.

i remember the time when there were 3 china ppl talking at the top of their voice and u were super pissed. i remember the time we were so bored studying that we went to explore the little malay village. i remember the time when i couldn't decide what to eat and we walked all around singpost.

well, the studying part has changed, so much so that now, i'm forced to study whereas i totally wasn't in the mood to study at that time. studying in canaan is different. it doesn't really make me look forward to studying. i remember i used to rush home after school at 12.45pm just to meet u on time at 3.

u were a special friend. and nothing can change that. not even now.
