YOU are the reason i live

the joy of the Lord is my strength

i had been looking for this verse for a very very long time already and today, i was reminded of this verse again and i figured that it would be easier to find it by google instead of bible.com. y was i so dumb last time. haha!

You have made known to me the path of life;
You will fill me with joy in Your presence,
with eternal pleasures at Your right hand.
Psalm 16:11

i was rather drawn to the part "You will fill me with joy in Your presence" as in don moen's song "in Your presence, there's fullness of joy". and truely, in God's presence, there's fullness of joy (=

today, God pointed a verse to me

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.
2 Corinthians 5:17-20

initially, God just revealed the first part of the verse to me, which is more "popular" than the second part of the verse. now, as i read the whole passage, God is trying to say "reconcile"

i was quite happy when God told me "the old has gone and the new has come" because of all these things that happen, i've become stronger and i've stepped out from the darkness that i was in. but now, God speaks to me a whole new message: reconciliation. just as He has reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation.

sometimes i hate it when God speaks especially when it's something u don't want to do. but somehow i feel in my spirit, it is the right thing to do. u just can't decide on certain things at one time because of all the emotions and when everything just appears infront of your face like that.

all in all, prayer mtg was great! (= haha.
