patience

yesterday, honestly, i was overjoyed. today, my hopes diminished a little. haha.

i was at life bookshop today, a very natural and automatic thing to do whenever i was at jp. i walked around the shop a couple of times to see what was sold and a book caught my eye - boy meets girl. haha. for anyone who knows me, it would be so supernatural for me to look at the shelves, not to mention a dating book! i was hesitant at first so i took a couple of turns again, looking at the cd shelves for a change. i decided to get paul baloche's a greater song and reluctantly grabbed a book of boy meets girl with much prompting from who-knows-where.

i'm already 1/3 thru and i'm amazed at how interested i am with the book. haha! perhaps it was the Holy Spirit prompting me to get the book because everything that stood out was the word "patience".

Daughters of Jerusalem, I charge you:
Do not arouse or awaken love
until it so desires.
Song of Songs 8:4

yea. after reading the 1/3, i'm beginning to see relationships in a new light. courtship is only the beginning of finding a potential spouse and ur wedding day is the beginning of a relationship. God is telling me not to rush things and that everything will happen in His own timing. how ready i am for this? i don't know. i'm starting to have my doubts and i don't know how long this will take.

one thing's for sure that i have to focus on God because He is the chief cornerstone of my life and if things are not right with Him, nothing else will be.

maybe one day i'll be laughing over all these silly things i've done. haha. i hope when i laugh, it'll be a good memory and not one i regretted. (=

i'll be praying for u and i hope u'll be praying for me too.
