YOU are the reason i live

same old same old

when u have a religion, u hear ppl telling u don't go too deep into it. just believe in it, don't be too fanatic. because the fanatics are too unrealistic.

sometimes, i too, wonder is it worth going thus far?

Pressing on Toward the Goal
12 Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.

13 Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead,
14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
15 All of us who are mature should take such a view of things. And if on some point you think differently, that too God will make clear to you.

16 Only let us live up to what we have already attained.
Philippians 3:12-16

this was what mrs lim quoted during morning assembly today, well part of it. something that i'd never taken seriously, i thot that it was only applicable to our christian walk with God. but what mrs lim said today really knocked some sense into me. it isn't only applicable in christianity, it is applicable in everything we do.

then the question again. is it worth going thus far?

i'd ever gone deeper than where i am now. isn't it good? many of my christian friends would ask. i guess, personally, i would want to grow in God naturally - something i read from edwj last night. slow and steady. why the hurry? many times i hurried and it was prematured. well God has His good timing. i decide to lean on His wisdom and grace to grow in Him.

aha. and i was thinking of smth that made me smile. but all's memories that's left. haha.
