amazing
i think the philippines mission trip has been a very wonderful experience for me. i love knowing more about people and it has not only give me opportunities to get to know more people better but it has given me a great opportunity for God to reveal so many things in my life.
the main thing that i've learnt in the this trip is giving. i've always love to give. of course there was a change in mindset before i began to see things the way God wanted me to see. i wanted God to touch me during the trip and to just fill me again but as the days went past, i didn't really feel much of His presence. but as i began to give, i could see so much more of how i could give. that's why i miss philippines now; there's so much i can do but not enough time. esp for the outstation churches, because there weren't enough pastors and leaders in philippines, most of the churches i visited only had 1 pastor taking care of the whole church: children, youth and adults. and at bacay, i felt that there was so much i could teach the youths there. haha. but we only had 3 days and 2 nights and i kind of regretted why didn't i see what God wanted me to see for this mission before it was going to end.
i realised also that a mission trip isn't that scary afterall; be it sermons or having to stay in villages, mountain churches. somehow, God really prepared my heart for the trip and gave me peace throuhgout. i really enjoyed myself alot, even during fellowship and preaching. God gave me boldness to speak and the heart for the people there.
it was really an amazing trip and i don't know if God has changed me, but somehow, i just feel different. more joy? =D
