YOU are the reason i live

mountains will move.

Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego replied to the king, "O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter. If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to save us from it, and he will rescue us from your hand, O king. But even if he does not, we want you to know, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up."
Daniel 3:16-18

this was one of the scripture references in edwj for one of the days this week. whenever i feel like i'm in the shoes of the 3 hebrew kids, eg: i know that God is mighty and He can do miracles but i don't know if He will perform a miracle for my situation, i always feel that when i pray 'God i know You can do this, but give me strength if things don't go well', it means i don't have enough faith.

instead of giving me the same impression when i read the 3 verses, i felt faith rise when i read verse 18 'But even if he does not, we want you to know, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.'

sometimes when we pray so hard for something to happen and it doesn't, God has a reason, but we must not let it deter our faith because God is still the same yesterday, today and forever. He is still the God of miracles even if the mountains don't move today; they will move one day.
