the essence to survive
in this crazy noise

thoughts are trailing off
they will come back
it's a crazy cycle
making depressing lives a fact

so many people

why the tear?
the struggle to make
the worry to break

life's not perfect
don't expect too much
things that are gone won't come back
life's only as such

mistakes made
cannot be reversed
only to trade
for His unconditional love

can't have everything
when everything means nothing
find satisfaction in
little things

searching for something
only to find nothing
knowing what i have
You're all that's left

to hold on
that glimmer of hope
pressing on
to be like Job

how awesome You are
Your faithful love
