YOU are the reason i live

imagine,
as though the past had already been written on paper,
probably printed with arial or times new roman size 4
because you wouldn't want them to be visible,
yet big enough to read when you want to.
then take the whole stack of 'em,
lay them down on the floor.
you sit yourself down beside the pile,
leaning against the wall.
with eyes focused on the familiar black words,
you reach out and take the first piece.
hesitation,
your hands, together, grabbing the length of the paper.
you stare blankly again,
as your mind cloud with thoughts and voices,
you shut your eyes tight,
the first piece ripped and torn,
crushed and thrown.
the first tear roll down.
recollection,
your memory floods your vision,
as though you're walking on your footsteps again.
noting each word you spoke, every action you did,
remembering the happier times and tragedies.
as each paper you tore, the memories fade,
people disappear, friendship break.
soon there was nothing more to tear,
your history ripped apart by your bare hands,
you have nothing else to hold on to.
destination,
a final chance to write your story,
your purpose for your renewed life,
one last time to pen them down.
give it another go, give yourself another shot,
what else have you got to lose?
make a fresh start, make a new beginning,
the past has been erased,
removed from the back of your mind.
one last cry,
go back on your feet.

i took 45min to write this. there's always a new way to write and i enjoyed it.
i guess God has been speaking alot now.
i've got to start and do my part.
backsliding is no fun definitely,
not when you are conscious of running away from God.
i've been too much of a burden and worry,
especially to lau.
it's time i get back on my feet, do the things i have to
and do the things i ought to.
it's a new day everyday.
