even us as christians

sometimes even us as chrsitians, we've been so used to listening to the word of God and hearing this phrase over and over again; "live by the word of God, live by the word of God" yet how many times have we chosen to go our own way?

it is a decision everyday of our lives, every minute, every second that we decide for ourselves who we are going to serve. serving God means committing every decision we have for His glory and for His purpose. it is hard and 9/10 times i fail.

"...choose for yourselves today whom you will serve..." Joshua 24:15

it is indeed a daily affair that we take up our cross to follow Him. and taking up that cross means to commit your whole life, all your decisions into His hands. to "seek ye first the kingdom of God".

nowonder Jesus said to 'count the cost' before we follow Him. it is hard, it's tiring. but today, i said "i'll try to put You first, God" and i did. and it's not gonna be a one-time committment but to surrender myself daily that 'i will put God first today'.
