YOU are the reason i live

finally

i felt quite bad not writing about christian stuff - the very reason for the existence of this blog. so i thought about what i could blog about. well i did learn something this week.

just when i was so stressed up after studying, the first thought that came to my mind was to game, really chiong all the way, just to relief the stress. however, while i was on my way home, God reminded me of the sermon ps benny preached on the sermon cd. it was on idols and its definition - something that u will seek in order to relief stress or find comfort for ur soul. by right, we should be seeking God for rest and relief. anything else that we seek to replace Him are in fact our idols.

well, honestly, the very first thing that came to my mind was "but i'll feel more stressed reading God's word". well, that came out very wrong. but thank God for the ability to think. if reading God's word makes me more stressed, then something is very wrong with my christian walk, which i won't deny.

thank God for christian music. i popped my earphones in and blasted the music into my ears. i don't know how loud it was from the outside, since i kept seeing almost everyone staring, it must have been loud. but it felt good - the music. somehow, by the time i got home, i wasn't that stressed anymore.

i've got to get back on track. i've lost it all.
