YOU are the reason i live

worthy

was it worth it all?
the tears, the heartbreaks, the apologies
the warm feeling of knowing that u cared
the love you gave ever so unconditionally

peace that God brought
in the midst of chaos and turbulence
a struggle i admit was about to break me
i didn't understand His reason

so i held on to His word
believing that everything will be alright
when everytime problems start to appear
i would always believe the peace for real

was it for real?
did i misunderstand that peace?
have i all along believed in the wrong promises?
the God who rescued me?

if the tears were worth it
i wouldn't be stuck in this dilemma
if the wait was worth it
i wouldn't be ignoring your voice

i know you hate me now
i destroyed it in my hands
can't give u an answer
coz i don't know how to face you

it wasn't intentional
i wish i had a chance to tell you
but i'm crashing
i'm breaking down again

i thought things would be alright
the day with hope i wrote the letter
why did it have to happen?
why happen then?

hurt i can't contain any longer
energy ripped of me
if i can't even stand before Your throne
will You let me lay at Your feet?

feel as though all's lost
hope gone from the face of the earth
what am i holding onto now?
i've lost all ability to think

i wish i had an answer.
