2mr's sharing

learnt alot in the 2 days of Bible emphasis: nuturing your inner life. learnt so much that i had to share for cell 2mr. haha. so here's the outline for my sharing 2mr.
Ephesians 2:10
For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God has prepared in advance for us to do.
we are all master pieces; not mistakes. God has already prepared the good works for us to do; we are all created to do good works. we need not worry what we have to do because He has already prepared the work we have to do in our lives. this also means that we should not be struggling in our ministry if we are doing what God has called us to do. if u find that u are struggling in an area in serving God then maybe u aren't called to that ministry.
Psalm 91:1-2
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”
there is no rest if there is no trust. we need to trust in God in order to have true rest in Him.

5 Arenas of the inner life
1.Devotion
2.Motivation
3.Preoccupation
4.Contemplation
5.Restoration

In the arena of Devotion
when we keep reading and sharing the word of God, we will always get new revelation from God. we must find our own secret place in which we will find intimacy with God. some find intimacy with God in reading His word, some in singing. despite our differences, we still need to be alone with God, pray in the spirit and read His word.

In the arena of Motivation
We can receive something good from God but because of past hurts and problems, we do not deliver it the way God wants. We are like a pipe in which God uses us to speak to people. If we do not take care of our inner life, we will be like a dirty pipe that when clean waters passes through us, it will come out dirty. It is important for us to keep our inner life pure and healthy for us to be used by God effectively.

In the arena of Restoration
in keeping the Sabbath, creating unhurried time and space to distance ourselves from the frenzies of life to see what God is doing and stopping long enough to hear God’s voice. the Sabbath means to trust God in providing for us when we rest in Him.
