testing God

it's a step of faith every sunday when i go to church. i've gotten used to not worrying how many members would turn up that sunday and just accept how things are as it is.

we were talking about testing God in cell today and if really to take that step of boldness would be to test God, i have been testing God my whole life. but sometimes, we need to understand that when we take that step of faith, it isn't really testing God but at times when we do not yield to the prompting of the Holy Spirit, we test God; like jonah. alamak. why didn't i give this example in cell.

sometimes it feels like i have no more faith to believe for greater things, especially now when i'm so tired. but at times, i do have the energy to plan stuff for the cell. i would always remember what wanlin told me about her cell leader, that her cl actually spent time with each and everyone of her member; all 12 of them. i really salute her. i don't have that kind of energy and love at the moment.

but i still want to thank God for giving me words to speak every sunday. i would just rattle off like i memorised the script a million times and just speak things so naturally and fluently. sometimes what i say also speaks to me and convicts me. such times, i know it is not i who speaks but the Holy Spirit working within me.

indeed there's no condemnation in Christ Jesus. encouragement is always better. there will be a time for everything.
